Garage floor coatings in Portland metro.
Choose a coating around parking, storage, wet tires, and the way your garage actually works.

Start with the slab, then choose the finish
A good-looking surface begins with understanding the concrete underneath it. Ask an installer to inspect existing paint or sealer, oil contamination, cracks, joints, and evidence of moisture. The written proposal should explain what gets removed, what gets repaired, and what preparation is included. A color selection cannot answer those questions.
Specify a complete system
A garage coating may combine a primer or base coat, decorative flake, and a clear topcoat. Epoxy, polyurea, and polyaspartic describe chemistries used within systems; the name alone does not establish suitability. Ask for the actual products and layer schedule, including traction additives and how movement joints will be treated.
Plan the garage around daily use
Tell the installer about parked vehicles, motorcycles, workbenches, freezers, exercise equipment, and direct sun at the door. Confirm how belongings will be stored and when foot traffic, heavy items, and vehicles can return. Installation time and full return to service are different milestones.
A cleaner starting point.
Use the planning tools to build a project brief. Final products, suitability, price, and installation arrangements must be confirmed with an installer.
